Engendering Hope Conference Review

This three day, two night conference at the Mt. Springs Lodge and Conference Center in Plain, WA was a celebration of life, knowledge, and healing; a perfect blend of education and relaxation. This con-ference received a 99% approval rating.
Mt. Springs Lodge in October is nothing less than glorious. The autumn colors and crisp cool air set an unforgettable back drop for the experience. The log lodges provided a 5 star experience, accommo-dations consisting of cozy beds, down comforters, fire places, full service kitchens, and a hot tub to
Relax in following a long day of learning.
David Dickenson, Director of The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery in Olympia was the key note. Mr. Dickenson was charming and informative. He brought the group up to speed on current changes in the budget and expectations. Other conference topics included Chemical Dependency and
Domestic Violence, An Introduction to Yoga, Financial Planning; Self Defense; Law & Ethics, just to name a few.
Attendees shared a gourmet commencement meal and a festive BBQ lunch. Attendees could earn as many as 14 CEU’s, participate in a silent auction, a raffle, win door prizes, and still have time to
enjoy the beauty of the area. Music and song provided an intimate evening of camaraderie.

The 2010 Conference was held Oct 5, 6 and 7 and was a great success
